Thank you for the opportunity to submit a proposal to assist Moss Marlow in rebuilding your website and enhancing your overall online image. From what I've seen and the interaction I've had with a few members of your team, Moss Marlow is an ideal partner in the way they approach business and seek to serve their customers while offering an excellent product and building a business that people want to be a part of.

The Mission
Redesign Moss Marlow’s website to provide a refreshed and modernized image that bills them as the authority in Custom Home Construction, Commercial Projects and Church Renovation/Construction in the geographic areas they serve. Some core highlights include more than 100 years in business, the strength in their ability to weather economic storms, and the desire to deliver beyond what customers expect as a building partner.
Project Goals

Scale down the amount of text on the site - convey the message of quality, value and exceptional service but with fewer words.

Use imagery throughout the site to showcase the broad scope and quality of the work performed.

Incorporate a brand message video to highlight the company's mission, what differentiates them in their market and “warms” potential customers to wanting to do business before they’ve ever even had a conversation.

Assistance with copy editing both to drive the correct message but also condense down the amount of text on the main pages.

Production of a 2-3 minute Brand Message video to include up to 3 interviews, highlighting history, industries served and why people should choose Moss Marlow.

“Light” photography to include some team members in office and on job sites looking at plans, “overseeing” construction etc.

Basic SEO foundation to include optimizing for keywords, page titles, meta descriptions, alt tags and submission to Google Search Console

Migration of new site to include necessary URL redirects to maintain existing hyperlinks
Production Schedule
We can begin crafting the messaging and copy immediately but one of my priorities would be shooting the necessary B roll needed for the brand message video because the leaves are changing rapidly. My priority would be establishing which homes/projects we want to highlight in the video and capturing exterior shots first because those are the most weather depended. Number of projects depending on location and completion date.

Site launch 1-2 weeks into the new year (after the holiday hangover and people are back to work.)
